miamistyle Posted February 22, 2007 Posted February 22, 2007 I like the integrated remote on the key on the 98+ Ls400s. Is there anyway to reprogram one to work on my 96 LS400? I've seen the uncut keys on eBay for like $50 like the one below. I'd love to toss that big bulky remote if I can. I'm hoping it can be done.

We have a 96' at our car lot and i will certainly ask the locksmith for you as he cuts keys for us every friday. I would think it's possible if they operate on the same type of frequency. I thought it was weird that first gens had the keyless entry keyhead then in 95' went to key faubs for three years? It made no sense to me.
miamistyle Posted February 22, 2007 Author Posted February 22, 2007 Thanks Scott! That is odd that they skipped the keyhead for 3 years. The only thing that is looking like it may be trouble from the pic is the 1 button lock/unlock.
