w@ntonsoup Posted January 27, 2007 Posted January 27, 2007 I'm looking for those "exploded view" parts diagrams with part numbers on a website, so I can order some replacement trim pieces. Any ideas?
wb578 Posted January 28, 2007 Posted January 28, 2007 I'm looking for those "exploded view" parts diagrams with part numbers on a website, so I can order some replacement trim pieces. Any ideas? You might want to try http://techinfo.toyota.com/ It costs $10 per day / $50 per month / or $350 per year for access; but most of what you could want is in there. Be forewarned, it will take some searching and A LOT of downloading of pdf files.
w@ntonsoup Posted January 28, 2007 Author Posted January 28, 2007 Thanks - but I've seen dozens of dealer sites have this stuff for free, I just can't find one right now for Lexus!
w@ntonsoup Posted February 1, 2007 Author Posted February 1, 2007 I'll just harass the parts guy next time I'm near my dealer (20m away) :)

w@ntonsoup Posted February 1, 2007 Author Posted February 1, 2007 Well if you go to parts.com - they have them on most of their websites for every model. Toyota and Lexus seem to be missing - I wonder if Toyota USA threatened a lawsuit or something..
Gryphon Posted February 1, 2007 Posted February 1, 2007 I suspect that some automobile manufacturers do prevent parts diagrams from being made available to the public. I have found that some motorcycle diagrams are conspicuously missing while others are easy to find. Tom
