supra7 Posted January 9, 2007 Share Posted January 9, 2007 I am considering buying a 2001 ES300 and love everything about the car but would like the drivers seat to track back just a little farther. The local Lexus dealer won't do anything for safety reasons. It seems to me the rails could be re-positioned, or possibly extended by welding on an extra length or maybe whatever causes the seat to stop could be repositioned?????????? 1995_ES300 Posted March 11, 2007 Share Posted March 11, 2007 im 6 3 but i drive a 95. my issue is headroom. I find the tips of my hair begin touching the roof in the morning, but by the afternoon after work there is a bit more clearance (spine compression??) lol. I'm also 6'3" 260lbs and found that generation ES more than adequate with room, I admit that the seat would be in the farthest position possible but my knees never got cramped.
