Surpirsingly the engine runs faster, but Im scared if it will damage my engine?

Any comments on this?

Sorry guys, Im just new here and I think I set it on a big letter accidentally. :P

By the way, I'm from the Philippines I thought there was an E10 Gas there in America

I own a 1992 SC300, BLack on Tan, Auto Trans very rare here in our country, I think

were just 5 units here and we have no Lexus dealer, so we just rely on some specialist mechanics who

has experience with Toyota since the engine is the same as a Toyota Crown Royal Saloon here.

Here's the pic of my car

E10 won't cause any damage to your engine. Some states are even attempting to mandate the use of 10% ethanol in 87 octane gasoline. Newer cars fuel systems were designed to safely run E10...daily.

Is E10 available everywhere in Hawaii, or just select gas stations? I wish I lived in a state that offered something better than this cali 91 craptane.

Is this the gas that they use in densely populated cities? When I lived in Baton Rouge (south louisiana), they made us use a more expensive fuel b/c of air quality.

What was the gas labeled as? Should have some kind of octane rating or what not. Yes, E10 would affect emission levels...depending on what contents your state tests for. I'd be happy with 93 octane or higher. This 91 is killing me. E10 must be killer for everyone with a stable supply of it.

What was the gas labeled as? Should have some kind of octane rating or what not. E10 isn't a universal/readily available source of fuel...yet. I'd be happy with 93 octane or higher. E10 would be straight s*x for forced induction.

i dont know about other islands but oahu only uses e-10 as of maybe a year ago? or was like spring anyway its been a while. and supposedly it reduces emmisions.

Yes, it reduces certain emissions. It'd be kick-!Removed! to have my car run on your "daily" fuel everyday!! I envy your gas...pump gas that is!! Hahaha.

How much is it per gallon over there?

Posted

premium runs $2.69-89 a gal. the emmisions part is good but the mileage is supposed to be reduced because ethonal has roughly 50% less energy so you need to burn a little more fuel to get the same power. but i havent noticed a difference...
