Mosh Posted December 18, 2006 Posted December 18, 2006 I was reading up on some of your HID installs, and I noticed that most of you claim that you need to modify the stock projectors and put in HID lenses from a vehicle that came stock with HID. I just installed HIDs in my ES300 and left the projectors stock, and I have no problems whatsoever with glare or anything like that. I even had my friend pass me on the highway to make sure, and he told me that they looked great, no glare. So why are you guys tearing your projectors apart? Just curious. Thanks.
SKperformance Posted December 18, 2006 Posted December 18, 2006 Projectors made for HID bulbs have a much better refractor built into them for great visibility as well as a sharp lens cut off for the twinkle effect.
Mosh Posted December 18, 2006 Author Posted December 18, 2006 I didn't have a problem with either one.
