yeah definelty use only lexus v8 filters they are bigger and the paper inside is thiker. as to the oil you might as well switch to sinthetic 5w-30. i did 2k on it already and its still light!

you can get them online as well they vary in price from 7 to 10$ dont pay more. and yes you should bring it to the shop. i bring my own oil and filter:)

Just want to confirm I found the right filter.

oil filter, LS400, SC400 95-00 $9.81 $8.14

Maintenance & lubrication - Engine service - Filters - oil filter

Sound about right? Buy it from there recommended?

Thanks. I notice the guy talking about those parts didn't notice a difference in filters based on the oil analysis. I'm just tryng to justify the slight inconvenience of buying my own and taking it to the shop each time. Seems like a no-brainer if changing it myself but... :unsure:
