Lacebug Sydney Posted November 26, 2006 Posted November 26, 2006 Hey guys, just a quick question. The ashtray in my 2000 ES300 is still rattling and driving me nuts. I removed the actual ashtray insert and lighter but the woodgrain body of the ashtray unit keep right on rattlin'. Any advice on how I can remove the unit so I can get a proper look at what's making it loose? Incidentally, Australian roads really suck, which might be half the reason for the rattle. Cheers Stephen Sydney
platinum00 Posted November 30, 2006 Posted November 30, 2006 there is two screws on the bottom. you must first pull of the trim around the shifter. remove the screwws and just pull it straight out, there is two clips at the top.
