Hello here is my problem, I'm in the UK and have a USDM leuxs. I went to the dealler here and they pulled the code for me (free of charge, you gotta love lexus) it is P0171 system to lean Bank 1, A1F! anyone know witch one it might be. My car has 2 Air Fuel ratio sensors. The dealler over here said its probably the one next to the fire wall. Any help would be great, Thanks guys Sorry it is a 2000 es300 Platinum seires

This might sound stupid but idose it, Not have great aceleration, and hesitating? If so i had this happen to me in my 2000 ES and the dealer said it was a dirty mass air sensor. they cleand it up and reset the light car ran great for 3 years. Now its back on and im heading to the dealler agin soon! Un less i can find some tips to clean it myslef

I hade a similar problem except my car was changing gears funny and wouldnt get over 80mph. I took it to the dealer and it triped 02 and massair sensors. It turnd out to be just a little bit of oil that got on the massair and some dirt, they just wiped the mass air off. My light were reset and my Lex flys like a champ!!!

there is two screws on the bottom. you must first pull of the trim around the shifter. remove the screwws and just pull it straight out, there is two clips at the top.

Well the first time the lights came on i just had the spark pluges replace. I thightend them up and reset the computer never came on agian. And now i just had new breaks put on WTF. They are on agian, I reset the computer and they still came back on. Any suggestions? :chairshot:

I had the same problem on my civic, i just look a old socket that was just a little smaller than you lug nut. hammer it on over the lug nut, and just used a ratchet. good luck

i had this problem with my 96 all it was is a little plastic clip that holds the, what do you call it the rod, that pulls the latch.
