stanigu Posted August 14, 2003 Share Posted August 14, 2003 Hello: I'm a new member here, and a very happy new owner of a 2000 LX470 w/ 40K mi. I was shopping around for the replacement vehicle for our 1999 GMC Denali and test drove quite a few vehicles, but I thought no other vehicle came close to what the LX470 offered in terms of quality, comfort, reliability, and off-road capability! (I didn't mention "sport"...but then this would be our long distance cruiser). The car is absolutely silent on the road EXCEPT there seems to be high amount of rattles coming out of the center console. Our Denali's center console is much more sturdy than the one in LX470! I'm putting on felt pads where I think it's making the noise, but has anyone experienced this and any tips on what to do? TIA for your help!
