dole2000
I need to change the spark plugs on my 91LS. I've been dreading doing it becasue it has been over a 100K since it was done and don't want to deal with a stuck plug. Is there any lubricant I can use, or impact wrench that makes it easier. I've read on the forum where people have broken sprak plugs. I have never done this before and would prefer to avoid the experince. Thanks, Bob :chairshot:
mehullica
Plugs should come out by hand tools easily, the wires may break if they are old.
VBdenny
Just be sure to use a good quality 6 point socket. Using a 12 point on a plug with 100 grand could cause it to round off. If you are concerned try to squirt a little WD-40 or Liquid wrench in first and let soak for a few hours without running hte engine.
