lexthem Posted August 12, 2003 Share Posted August 12, 2003 hello all, I'm probably going to be purchasing a 98 ES300 in the next day or two, I was just wondering if there are any weak points I should be looking for when I inspect it and also if anyone has any advice or pointers that a knowledgeable owner would have that I would not. FLiP Sp33d Posted August 12, 2003 Share Posted August 12, 2003 i have a 98 so here's what i can say about it.. u can feel the torque steer even under normal driving and the steering is somewhat soft. the magazines claim 0-60 in over 8 sec but that's bs... most likely mid to high 7s. floor the gas while crusing at 60 and you'll hit 90 a couple of seconds later. the 60-90 acceleration is so good, i got ahead of a wrx just this evening yup, and that was on a slight curve and yea that wrx was trying!
