Question About Shift Knobs

I was wondering, will a 2002 sc430 wood shift knob fit a 96 ls 400?

well its too late now.. I already bought it.. it was only $60 so if it doesnt fit i can always sell it on ebay or something

There are a few types and they all fit the thread.

The problem comes with the LS having a larger shift knob in height.

The GS and ES have a shorter one the height differences are the height of the chrome trim under the shifter.

my cousin gave me a brand new wood shift knob off of his rx330 he replaced it with an aftermarket one he liked better ( i have no idea y) but i got it to fit perfectly but i had to sand the opening a lil bit.
