todd332 Posted August 11, 2003 Posted August 11, 2003 Hey guys and gals...I just had my car serviced at a lexus dealership...I had a new timming belt, water pump t-stat and a pully replaced...None of these things was back except the pully..I got my car serviced about 2 weeks ago and have been driving it sence..I have noticed a noise ..The noise sounds like it might be comming from a pully..When I come to a stop I also feel it palsating in the brake pedal...It only does it when the A/C is on..I turn the A/C of you dont hear the noise as bad and you dont feel it in the brake pedal either..Should I be worried maybe my timming belt was not put in right? or is it becouse of a new pully? I just spent a lot of money to have this car serviced at a lexus dealership and I dont want my engine destroyed...They said they drove test the vehicle after sevising it and everything is fine..any help would be appreciated.. :whistles:
SKperformance Posted August 11, 2003 Posted August 11, 2003 i might say the tech tightned the belt too tight causing aditional drag on the engines crankshaft and the belt
