Guest snugglebunnies
Hello, I just bought a 2002 ES300 and I want to install "The Best" Sheepskin Seat Cover or Seat Vest. Since the car has side air-bags installed in the side of the seats, I am leaning towards a Seat "Vest" There are a LOT of inferior Sheepskin Seat Covers/Vests out there. Anyone with first hand experience would be appreciated. Thanks.
Toysrme
I thought sheepskin was just what really old uneducated people used for condoms??? I am so just kidding around with you dude. I'm too young I guess... I've never heard, nor know of any reason why someone would take sheepskin over latex, errrr I mean leather!
Guest snugglebunnies
All in good fun. Actually, I do remember using them way back (kept slipping off!) You were wondering why use Sheepskin Seat covers? Simple, they insulate you in the Winter to help keep you warm, and they also keep you cool in the Summer. As an added bonus, they save the leather from daily wear and tear, and they look nice too. So once again I ask you dear readers, if anyone who has any "useful" advice where I can purchase nicely made Sheepskin Seat cover or Seat Vest, I would appreciate it. Thanks. SKperformance
It is hard to find them now adays for modern cars because of the side airbags and the interference it causes.
Guest snugglebunnies
Agreed. That is why I am leaning towards a Seat "Vest" (covers center of seat only). I had a pair of Seat Vests on my BMW (540) and they they worked quite well. They didn't bunch up and slide around like a Seat "Cover" is prone to, but... they had the BMW logo stiched into them which would look silly in my ES300. So, does anybody know where I can get a Sheepskin Seat Vest (nicely made)? I'm looking for anwers from members who have "real, first hand experience".
