LuckyApril7 Posted August 24, 2006 Posted August 24, 2006 I would be driving with the air conditioner on all the time and it runs fine. But if i turn off the a/c while driving , the whole car shuts down and i would have to cruise to a stop just so i can start it again. This only happens when i'm driving and i turn off the air conditioner. Any clues anyone???
SKperformance Posted August 24, 2006 Posted August 24, 2006 You have a dirty throttle body and your idle up bypass is allowing the engine to idle. Clean your throttle body.

jzz30 Posted August 25, 2006 Posted August 25, 2006 or dont turn off your ac!!!! haha! oh BTW if that ever happens again even after the TB cleaning just put the shifter in to Neutral and then you can start your car again!
