Floridaken Posted August 15, 2006 Posted August 15, 2006 QUICK QUESTION AND I HOPE I GET A QUICK RESOLVE. BEFORE DOING EXTENSIVE READING , IM HOPEING SOMBODY CAN PIN POINT THIS PROBLEM REALLY QUICK. I JUST GOT HOME FROM HAVING MY CAR TOWED 39 MILES. PROBLEM WAS THIS.. WENT TO COURT.. (BAD THING IN THE FIRST PLACE ) CAME OUT AND THE CAR WOULD JUST TURN OVER AND NOT START. LIKE IT HAD NO SPARK OR SOMTHING .. CHECKED FUSES AND DID WHAT I COULD WITH NO TOOLS. DRIVE 39 MILES IN A TOW TRUCK WITH TWO SWEATY GUYS.. TAKE THE CAR OFF THE TRUCK, AND PUT THE CAR IN THE DRIVE WAY, TURNED THE KEY AND IT STARTED. AFTER HOURS OF NOT STARTING AND CHEKING THINGS. IT JUST ALL OF A SUDDEN STARTED AGAIN. SAME THING HAPPEN LAST WEEK BUT STARTED WITHIN 2 MIN. ANY BODY HAVE ANY IDEAS ? COIL ? FUSE ? ALL THE FUSES UNDER THE HOOD WERE GOOD. EFI ECT. IS THERE SOME KIND OF OIL SWITCH THAT WOULD PREVENT THE CAR FROM GETTING SPARK ? IM CURIOUS. THANKS .. FLORIDAKEN 1993 SC400 245.000 MILES .. TIMEING BELT ALREADY CHANGED.
SKperformance Posted August 15, 2006 Posted August 15, 2006 I would check to make sure the fuel pump is actually turning on when you are having problems.
