Superfly
I have a 2001 GS 300 and I want to upgrade my stock rims and tires. I want to put 20s on put i dont want to ride on a 30 series tire. I'm thinking 19s with a 40 series. Also im looking to do a staggered setup 245/40/19 up front and 275/40/19 out back. Can anyone tell me if this combo will work. And if so, what kind of an offset ill need for the front and back. Thanks
Lex01_430
i don't think you can get away with 40 series. i have 19's with 245/30/19 and 275/25/19. i can't remember the offset, just do a search and you should find that out. i believe it was +38... master
You can run "fat setup" this is called, 245/40/19 +38ET front and 275/35/19 +38ET offset all around front/rear and you are set FYI, wheel size 19x8.5 front and 19x9.5rear Happy hunting

Belle Mead
Guys, I am new at this and recently got a 99' GS400 and would like to upgrade to a staggered set up with 18x8's in the front and 18x8.5's in the rear. I have stock wheels and tires and would like to get better handling with a fairly decent ride. Will this set up get me what I want? Also, is there an offset required? Thanks
