Hands Free Phone

I understand the issue with uploading a phone book from a VZW phone. OBEX etc issue. What I don't understand is why the NAV does not allow a manual input of phone "contacts". Poor design ny Lexus. ANd yes I undersatnd you can manually input 15 or so "one touch dials" form the called or received listing.

And (2) my friend's Acura allows him to voice activate a call. Like "Call home". That's the whole point of hands free. Again poor planning by Lexus.

The new Lexus system allows this, the 2007 RX350 has it. You can also voice dial by digit, 3-0-1 etc.

This is true. It works well too. I guess they realized that this was a needed feature..

My complaint is that you have to press a button and wait for that woman to tell you to speak after the beep.. By the time you're using a voice command, you could have manually completed the task. Perhaps 'audio on' and 'audio off' werent meant for voice activation..
