When Did The Ls Start To Have Projector-beam Hid?

Hi all,

I'd like to know when did the LS start to have the projector-beam HID?

It seems to me that the projector-beam HID are brighter than the reflector ones (?).

Yep, it was 2004. I have an 03 with the reflectors. My previous 2 cars had projectors. Much nicer, IMHO. The projectors give a more defined field of light.
