lexus082
After having the power steering leak I had my alternator rebuilt. The battery light is not on, but my dome light and map lights are dim at idle. Once the rpm's go up the lights return to normal brightness. After searching I think the problem is with the voltage regulator. When the blinker is applied the gauge cluster lights dim off and on with the blinker. Does this sound like its most likely a problem with the voltage regulator? I don't think i'll be returning to that shop that rebuilt it without informing me that part was bad before rebuilding it.

jzz30
^ i agree. but if all fails the regulator may need changing if they didnt.
