Jacko99 Posted July 5, 2006 Posted July 5, 2006 Hello there from the UK. I have recently changed my LS400 1993 for a 2002 LS430. The car is lovely but my wife and I find the ride very firm. UK imports were all fitted with 17 or 18in wheels unlike the USA. I am very keen to find a set of OEM 16in wheels in good condition. Preferably without the tyres which would add a lot to the weight for shipping. Please can anyone help two elderly pensioners looking for a comfortable ride ? Names etc of dealers or breakers would be a great help if no one has a set for sale. Many thanks Best Wishes Jacko99 (John L )
SKperformance Posted July 5, 2006 Posted July 5, 2006 Hmm , the cheapest way to do the exchange would be to trade your set for someones 16's. That way each of you just pay the shipping.
SW03ES Posted July 5, 2006 Posted July 5, 2006 Also remember that 16s from any LS model or year will work. Does yours have 17s or 18s? The ride really isn't that different on the 17s provided you have the right tires and the pressure is set properly.
