A/c Trouble Code 21?

My 95 has some AC problems. I get a code 21 for starters. Now the problem! Sometimes it is nice and cold and working correctly! Other times it works for about ten minutes and then starts blowing warm to hot air! The 21 code is for the Solar Sensor on the dash! Has anyone had this go bad? I have had the system evac'ed and refilled twice and no leaks were found!

The solar sensor only controls the flow of air to vents or floor not temp.

It is not registering any code if you get 21 . It is too dark when you checked it so the sensor shows up

Ok, the air blows good from all the vents in the different modes! Any other suggestions?

How about later models? I'm having the same problems on my 02 ES300 with 93,000 miles. Thanks
