I am considering buying this kit for my first time detailing, I have a brand new IS 350 smoky granite with black leather interior, it's looking pretty dirty right now, I have water spots etc, I like to take care of the paint as much as possible, I have never detail a car and this would be my first try, questions, is this a good kit and second would I damage my car if I don't know how to use the porter cable? how hard is it to use? TIA

Thats an excellent setup to start with.

thank you steve, much appreciate it, I was wondering I found the PC on amazon for 119, where can I get the pads, and what kind of pads would you recommend? thank you in advance. My car is brand new and it doesn't have any swirls etc.

You can buy the pads here:

www.pakshak.com

I'd reccomend Lake Country Pads.

I do not know if this helps you but you can buy the 7424 PC from amazon (w/coupon) for like $104 with free shipping.
