monarch Posted May 18, 2006 Posted May 18, 2006 The owners manuals of all 2007 models and some 2006 models recommend 0W-20 and 5W-20 motor oils and they can be purchased at the Parts Dept's of Toyota dealers http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y189/mastertech/oil.jpg
steviej Posted May 19, 2006 Posted May 19, 2006 monarch, I am starting to think that you are a parts manager for a major Toyota dealership. steivej
mburnickas Posted May 19, 2006 Posted May 19, 2006 monarch, I am starting to think that you are a parts manager for a major Toyota dealership.steivej I agree 100% Steve. Problem is the above oils will not do much better (if at all) then standard 5w-30 oils. There cst are so close @ 100C .

steviej Posted July 2, 2006 Posted July 2, 2006 Did you read the forum rules? This is a violation and a bad post. Reported to forum moderator TunedRX, We are well aware of monarch's antics on this site and others. It has never been proven that he does in fact work for any dealership. As a matter of fact, whenever asked what he did do for work, monarch would never answer the question. Bad post: Yes, most definately, as we have come to expect postings like that from him. Violation: Actually not, he is telling members to buy Genuine Toyota product. He is not saying he has them for sale personally. But if you know monarch, nothing else but toyota products are acceptable. You will take comfort to know that monarch, however, has been suspended indefinately for disregarding other rules and guidelines of this forum. steviej
