boblee
My AC didnot work when I started my car this morning. Mechanican told me that my compressor and dryer broke, no freon left. Asked for $990 total to replace the parts. I want to fill freon first by myself. Could anybody tell me how to do it, what is the pressure requirement of freon for 96 ES300? There are two valve of AC tube. One is low pressure valve, another one is high pressure valve, which one could I fill the freon in? Has anyone have some problems before? Thanks. bbsal
well you have to put it in the high end i beleave.i know its in the back passenger side of the car in my 95.also you need r34 not frion.you can buy it at any local pepboys or auto parts store and also walmart for like 4 bucks.it comes with the adapter and some come with a pressure gague on it to let you know were to fill it to.most can wont let you over fill it anyway because they only hold so much pressure to be safe.hope this helps
