Mechanican changed the oxygen sensor (bank 1, sensor 2) for my 96 es300 two days ago, then I drove about 300 highway miles. when I reached my town, the light was on again.
I went to autozone, the error code is 141. That means the new oxygen sensor has problem again.
It is almost impossible, coz that one bought from the toyota dealer, wouldnot broke in one day.
I am not sure whether there are other reasons to make the my checking light on.
I went to firestone, they asked for $80 for using their computer to scan and get error codes.
What will it cost normally if I want to fix this problem? I want to change that sensor by myself, but I really doubt that is not the sensor problem coz it is brand new sensor.
Any ideas?
