tubby2
Hello everyone, from a soon-a-be RX-350 owner..... I am "building" a RX350 to shop the internet for pricing, but the archives could not help with this question: what is a "towing hitch bracket"? We want the "tow prep package" for the improved alternator and radiator, but do not intend to install the receiver. Many thanks for your assistance. normr
I just bought an RX, all of them are ready to have the trailer hitch installed, but the important thing is the electrical box that needs to be added to connect your trailer lights, it's very important since the vehilce has LED taillights. tubby2
I just bought an RX, all of them are ready to have the trailer hitch installed, but the important thing is the electrical box that needs to be added to connect your trailer lights, it's very important since the vehilce has LED taillights. Many thanks for the come back. I just discovered the tow package is only available with the AWD models, and we only want the front wheel drive. It's a shame they do that, as that package has to be one of the best value options to purchase for any vehicle, even if you never intend to tow. You can never have too many amps or too large of a cooling system, and all for under 200 bucks.
mehullica
It's not a shame they do that. It's to protect them. 2wd are not are rigid as the 4wd. Front wheel drive would have poor traction if some fool did try to tow when they shouldn't.
