I have a 2006 RX 330, I beleive it's a generation 4 system, I see there are updates available for purchase, but what exactly will this new DVD do for me? Will it update the system to the newer look like my brother has in his 2007 RX 350? His nav lets him input the address by voice, I can't do that on mine and I'm hoping this update will add this feature along with the newer maps. So if someone would please explain what I'll get for the $295 update. And if there is a better place to purchase please let me know. If you could please email me where to get the best deal. I have a 2006 RX-330 which I leased in February and I now have dash board noise when drivng over roads that are little bumpy, plus if you touch the dash it sqeaks badly, I can't beleive that they still have this problem, I expected Lexus vehicles not to have problems like this. I'm really starting to wish I bought something else, there are many shortcomings of this vehicle, such as, 1. the vehicle should also have rear backing sensors, it takes too long for the rear camera to come on since Lexus needs to flash their logo each time, I could have already backed up over a child by the time it comes on, 2. satellite radio should have been standard, ipod integration should have been standard too 3. it's ridiculous that a passenger can't work the navigation, it should be tied into the passenger seat sensor, so when the airbag goes on for that side, it should go on, 4. I think the paint in the area of the front of the car chips too easily, 5. On-Star or whatever Lexus called it should be in the car too

Yes, I HATE this, some damn attorney @ Lexus needs to be shot, YES you frackin idiots WE RELEASE LEXUS FROM A LAWSUIT IF WE CRASH USING THE NAV, SO QUIT ASKING US! It's more dangerous to have me punching in a 10 digit phone number on my phone than to hit 1 selection in my nav phonebook. Let us decide how we choose to run our cars, put this in your stupid personal settings appointment so we can turn the damn thing off. And I agree that a passenger should be able to use the damn thing while driving, it's ridiculous things like this that will force me to buy something like a TOM TOM and the manufacturers can stick their systems up their collective asses.

Maybe you need to change the zone that you nav is using, I know with mine there are like 5 zones for the whole continental US, right now I'm in Florida, and this zone goes up to like South Carolina and if I need to, I can change it

I just bought an RX, all of them are ready to have the trailer hitch installed, but the important thing is the electrical box that needs to be added to connect your trailer lights, it's very important since the vehilce has LED taillights.

I'm sure it's okay to have Toyota dealers service your Lexus because if you have the Nav system and hit emergency to look for the closest dealer, it will also give you Toyota dealerships to take your Lexus to.

Hi Bryan, Any idea how to add the trailer light plug if I purchase an 06 RX-330 with the towing prep package (no hitch though) Is there some kind of box that needs to plug into some hidden connector?

I will be picking up my 2006 RX-330 this week, it has the tow package (transmission cooler & heavy duty radiator) so I assume it it pre-wired and I just need to purchase the necessary item to bring the plug down to the hitch area, and buy one of the after market hitches, Can someone help me out here?
