bry
:( Has anyone done an installation of the evaporator and expansion valve on a 1990 LS 400. Have gotten conflicting information regarding what has to be done for the install. Anywhere from removing the whole dash to just the removal of the glove compartment. Need help desperately. 110 degrees and no air. I am in Las Vegas, Nv. Also, can anyone refer me to a decent mechanic that might handle the work and not charge an arm and a leg, in this area. Thanks for any info you can provide.
itmdtr
You will only have to remove the glove compartment.
LVheretic
Bry, you could check Buffalo Jim's shop near I-15 and Sahara. If you see a copy of "Mercury" (free) on the newstand, check out his ad AND column called "Nuts and Bolts"...I've learned all kinds of stuff from there. Good luck...if you cant find a copy or dont have time, email me and I will dig out and send his contact info. Nick
