One Speaker Only

Finally i found an AMP for my 93 SC400, but it seems that only one speaker is working...any idea what could be the problem?

Guess what ? The amp you bought was probably sold by another sc owner that went through exactly what you are going through now. It is the amp. The worst location for an amp from any car mfg'er. They always get wet and short out. You probably paid a good price for that boat anchor. Return it. Difficult find. Good Luck.

get a real cd player, get a real amp, get real speakers. I would just go to a shop if you have no interest in car audio. The stock radio sucks anyways. or just do this like i did lol....

Any advice on what audio system to get...what will fit? will the dash still look ok if i installed another audio system?

There is no real install kit available for the sc. A single din radio with a pocket underneath looks pretty good though. It is a rig and there is nothing made for this car. I went to a junkyard with measurements and found a pocket filler thing that would work.
