akshay Posted August 16, 2008 Posted August 16, 2008 disconnecting the battery, removing the Disk player (ECU?) from underneath the passanger seat and disconnecting the battery inside the dvd drive worked for me. LX470. used a small flat head to break the solder to the battery lead, then taped it back on. i was too chicken to solder in there. if the connection comes loose, ill solder it

I did this twice. First time I opened up the rear compartment and took out the navigation ECU, and took it apart to do the reset, and it worked. Second time I simply disconnected the car battery for over night, and it also resetted. Bad part is, all other settings were lost as wel.
