MingF Posted April 4, 2006 Posted April 4, 2006 Hey...i took my sister's 2001 IS 300 for a drive the other day, and drove it on the highway. I was driving 120 Km/h (80mph) and the RPMs was at 3000. Is that normal?? Does anyone else noticed their RPMs when driving aroudn this speed? I have an 02 ES300 and i know they are different cars but the RPMs for the ES at the same speeds are low 2000-2500 RPM so i thought the IS was revving high. Any suggestions plz? Thanks
bartkat Posted April 4, 2006 Posted April 4, 2006 That's not unusual for the IS. It's geared lower overall than the ES.
