Rx330driver Posted March 30, 2006 Share Posted March 30, 2006 I dont actually own one of these cars, but a gs300 was park on the side walk with the engine still on on idleand as i passed by, fairly new car, i noticed that the engine was ridiculously loud, much louder than my other lexus cars. The ticking of the direct injectors addedw ith the fan noise, it sounded like a 10 year old car. Is this considered normal for those who own the car. I mean, i would be pretty embarassed driving that thing near people, lol. It could also be that the car had not been properly maintained but, it sounded like it was more than that. amazon2000 Posted March 30, 2006 Share Posted March 30, 2006 That's right. My GS300 only has 1,000 miles but I can hear the engine noise from inside when it stops. It sounds like a dissel engine...
