BlackIS Posted March 26, 2006 Posted March 26, 2006 I just purchased a '02 IS300 w/ 40,000 miles. I think I'm noticing a slight hesitation on initial exceleration (stop to go). Does anyone have any experience with this hesitation?
Rx330driver Posted March 26, 2006 Posted March 26, 2006 if you go around this site, you will notice a lot of threads about hesitation...and thats just how these cars "were" made. lexus cannot build transmissions, thats the bottom line. I will have to say, i dont always feel it on my is300 that often, its one of the better cars. but i do feel is a very sensitive break and gas pedal, slight tap and the car jerks forward. Very different from the SUV, very hard to get used to it after driving another car.
bartkat Posted March 26, 2006 Posted March 26, 2006 Part of that hesitation was fixed by the TSB for the ECU reflash. Something else that might help is an aftermarket grounding kit.
