mylex
I took my RX330 in for the free 1K service. The service department placed a 3750 mile next checkup sticker on the windsheild. Question is, should the next service be at 3750k or 7500k?
scubawin
From the manual depending on the driving conditions, either 5000 or 7500 miles. I just took mine in the other day for it's 1000 mile service and they never asked just put down 5000 miles on the sticker they stuck in my windshield. If you read the conditions I'm pretty sure I would fall under the 7500 mile interval but would have a hard time not taking it in more frequent than that. I'm wondering if you had about 1250 miles on it when you took it in and the service guy had a brain !Removed! and was thinking in another 3750 miles it needs its 5000 mile service. Only thing I could think of.
RXKICK
Question for you all. Does the RX330 have a service reminder LED light? RXKICK.
mylex
I actually had 1050 miles on it. The sticker was computer generated. Reading the manual, I fellinto the 7500 category. I am not sure what they are thinking of!
scubawin
If you have the NAV package, it has a calendar feature that you can input service reminders. I haven't used it yet so I don't know if there is a reminder light, bells, whistles or what, whenever the mileage is reached. Don't know about the RX-330 without the NAV package. stanq
Rely on the manual. If the dealer could have his way, he would have you bringing the car in every 500 miles.
