You are right the Lexus interior is lot nicer. But, only two drawbacks cargo room is way too small on the RX330 vs. the MDX. Also, horsepower. RX330 only got 230hp vs. the MDX 260hp. From what I heard the 2005 MDX would have 280-290hp 3.8L. Nicer interior, more sporty, HID lights, side curtains airbags. RXKICK.

Question for you all. Does the RX330 have a service reminder LED light? RXKICK.

I have had the same noise coming from my 4Runner before. One of my CV boot was cracked open. After replacing it, the noise went away. Check your CV boot make sure they are not cracked. my .02 cents. RXKICK.

I disagree......The Rx330 will do fine on regular unleaded gas. You should check to see whether there are any recalls. Most likely the oxygen sensor went bad. Also, make sure that your gas cap gasket is in good condition. Otherwise replace the cap and tighten it. You didn't mention how many miles on your car? RXKICK
