Now the car is running rough, jerking when I press the gas pedal feels as though my plugs are clogged or distributer cap has water on it dont know Can anyone tell me a simple solution to rectify this problem (I Know driving the car will eventually evaporate the water and it will be fine,,, But I'm selling this car this week and I want it to be fine NOt jerking when the customer comes to drive it LOlz..) newbe786 Posted March 6, 2006 Author Share Posted March 6, 2006 Someone on this website had the same problem they removed the distributer cap and blow dried it, only problem, stupid question but emmm...where is the distributor cap located on the SC400 I'm sorry I dont know much about where things are located on the engine. jim_darci Posted March 9, 2006 Share Posted March 9, 2006 I actually did the same retarded thing. And taking it out on the highway is not the answer. I tried this as well and actually almost ruined the car. When I tried to drive it around the cats ended up turning a bright orange. Luckily I didn't ruin those as well.
