camlex Posted March 1, 2006 Posted March 1, 2006 Hello, I have fairly new tires by Michelin. and recently rotate and balanced. When i drive between 70-80, car steering vibrate and passanger feels vibration. presently car has 182700 miles. Needs your suggestion and inputs. Thanks in advance.

How long after you had the tires rotated & balanced did the vibrating start? Are all air pressures set correctly & did you get a 4 wheel alignment? We'll start with the easy stuff first. B)

SW03ES Posted March 2, 2006 Posted March 2, 2006 Its very hard to balance the wheels on a Lexus since they're more sensitive to out of roundedness than other cars, in my experience its rare to have it done right the first time wheh you get new tires. Glad its all fixed!
camlex Posted March 2, 2006 Author Posted March 2, 2006 They used different balance system. rather then 0.25,0.5,0.75,1.00 etc he was measuring 0.02. I don't know what you call this, but i tested with 90-95 No problem. Thanks,
