rollout Posted July 28, 2003 Posted July 28, 2003 Didnt see any posts on this topic: Does anyone know how to get rid of rust that has appeared on my gs300's wheel hubs? It is showing up in the hub area between the rotor and where the rim is bolted on - there is a 2" space here where the caliper mechanics go. I can see this rust when I look between the wheel spokes. Can I paint this area - maybe a clear lacquer or something. Anyway, any input would be appreciated. Thanks ahead of time....
SKperformance Posted July 29, 2003 Posted July 29, 2003 you have to remove the wheels clean tehm then use paint to coat the suface from the elements there are spray cans but they are junk the best is the folia tec brush on one or it is also rebaged and sold by tire rack called g2 i think but it is amazing stuff plus while you are at it you can paint your rotors comes in blue red gold silver black and a few other colours and looks mint
rollout Posted July 30, 2003 Author Posted July 30, 2003 Thanks for the tips. What is "folia tec or G2"? Never heard of them....but I'm not in the automotive paint business either...
SKperformance Posted July 31, 2003 Posted July 31, 2003 no clue if g2 makes anything else or just tire racks name for it folia tec makes alot of car accessories from germany
