What is tps? I am guessing (Throttle Position Sensor) If so your check engine light should not have gone on. Check that you put all the connections back the right way on the TPS change and make sure all vacume hoses were reconnected. I changed that sensor and had no problems what so ever. To reset your ecu readings disconnect the battery cables wait then reconnect, I don't know if your fuse did the trick... Good luck

Hi BM-

I have a 92 also. I am not familar with the paper clip method, but it sounds like you may have 2 codes showing?

Here are a couple of pages from the diagnostic section of the 92 manual. Hope they help!

troubleshooting_8_diagnosis_system.pdf

troubleshooting_12diagnostic_code_chart.pdf

If you identify a code you want more info on, let me know and I will post it.
