Celshot
I have a 99 ES 300, 38K. I need to replace the plugs. The car has a sticker stating Iridium plugs should only be used. I can only find them at the Lexus dealer here in Honolulu for $12.50 each. I can get platinum plugs for $4 each. Can I use the platinum plugs? What is the difference in plugs? Will the platinum plugs hurt the car? Celshot
SW03ES
Basically the iridium plugs have a cleaner more precise spark, they last longer, and they retain their performance longer into their lifespan. I would stick with Iridium.

The same plug may be cheaper there. also try: http://www.densoiridium.com/index.php they might have a list of dealers on your island. steviej
