  1. My 1999 ES 300 is at a Toyota dealer right now having wiring bundles shot to find out why my rear lisence plate lights do not work. The tail lights, brake lights, trunk release switch, and fuel door release all work as advertised. My plate lights are out. No obvious breaks in the wiring bundle in the trunk. Circuit breaker (tail lights) is good. Bulbs good. $194 and climibing at the moment so I can pass a safety inspection. Any suggestions from anyone? SOLUTION FOUND: Dealer just called, wire bundle was "pinched" so only the plate lights went bad. :chairshot:
  2. I have a 99 ES 300, 38K. I need to replace the plugs. The car has a sticker stating Iridium plugs should only be used. I can only find them at the Lexus dealer here in Honolulu for $12.50 each. I can get platinum plugs for $4 each. Can I use the platinum plugs? What is the difference in plugs? Will the platinum plugs hurt the car? Celshot
  3. Guys Thanks for the help. It took me a while to figure out how that stupid turn signal came out. Pulling on it like a kid with stciky fingers worked.
