plano tx es300 Posted January 12, 2006 Posted January 12, 2006 My independent mechanic advised I need coolant plate replaced on 1994 ES 300 w/ 137k mi. I can't find such a part on the web--is this a legitimate repair?
SKperformance Posted January 12, 2006 Posted January 12, 2006 you got me and i own a 94 ES. Are you sure your "mechanic" is using the right term? I would call him and ask him what it does?
Toysrme Posted January 12, 2006 Posted January 12, 2006 Maybe he's talking about the EGR pipe under the upper itnake air chamber that routes coolant to the TB - cooling the EGR & warming the TB??? I feel stupid. Make sure before you let him replace something. Any problems with the car?
