ARABLS430 Posted July 24, 2003 Posted July 24, 2003 Hi all, I have a 2001 LS430 with 20"x8.5" rims. I wanna lower it but not by more than 0.8". I really don't want it to be too low so it doesn't hurt the car. I know that eibach springs only lower it by 1.4", but I believe it is too much especially with 20" rims. Therefore, what kind of lowering springs you guys recommend? Thanks
jzz30 Posted July 24, 2003 Posted July 24, 2003 well how about some coil overs with infinitely adjustable ride hight? you had enough cash to buy 20s and a 2001 LS so what is price to you? maybe the ride will be a bit stiff?
kisik Posted July 24, 2003 Posted July 24, 2003 Why reinvent and reengineer what has been perfectly balanced? Get yourself a M5 and play around...Well afterall, its your baby and you can do whatever you want. Talk to application engineers at the best springs companies and tell them what you want.
SW03ES Posted July 24, 2003 Posted July 24, 2003 Plenty of people lower and customize their Lexuses. Hell, Lexus even sells the parts to do so under their "L-Sportline" line, just not for the LS.
jzz30 Posted July 25, 2003 Posted July 25, 2003 i think TOM`s in japan sells coilovers for the 430 and cuz its TOM`s it doesnt affect warrentee
