sightalignment
If you are in manual mode (using shift paddles), can you pass the redline? or at redline, does the computer prevent you from passing it. I know the light turns on, but does it turn on at the red line or prior to it? can you set it? thx

I know the light turns on, but does it turn on at the red line or prior to it? can you set it? thx Not sure which light, but if it's the rpm light, you can set it where you want. If you hit the rev limiter the engine will die and just continue to rev and die as it keeps hitting the limiter. That is if you hold the throttle to the floor long enough. First time you hit the rev limiter, you should know it's past time to shift. I believer you can kick in the limiter the same way by just holding down the gas pedal in neutral. The engine will just cycle on and off as the limiter kicks in and out. I keep my rpm light set at 6000 RPM and I see it blink for an instant just before WOT shifts in automatic mode. It's kinda neat that way.
