skbb Posted November 28, 2005 Posted November 28, 2005 Hi, What Toyota/Lexus RX330 genuine HID Kelvin?.Is it 5000k?.Thanks.
skbb Posted November 29, 2005 Author Posted November 29, 2005 Hi, What about the latest HID Kelvin use by BMW and Benz?.The light changes color from white-purple-blue. Their HID use gas or wire?.
Booyah Posted November 29, 2005 Posted November 29, 2005 Same as any other HID. Probably just differant optics in the housing that makes the color change, but if you look at the 330's they also turn purple, white as you look at them from differant angles
skbb Posted November 29, 2005 Author Posted November 29, 2005 In this case is it worth upgrading the oem HID (4300-5000k) to HID 6000K RAYBRIG D2S(color bluish and purplish 6000k)HID bulb 2pcs 1set 28,050yen.Thanks
SKperformance Posted November 30, 2005 Posted November 30, 2005 The different hue's of blue are from a sharp angle/cutoff on the edges of the projectors causing a purple colour but it is the same bulbs as everyone else.

Lamps burning at 6000K are a lot harder to see the road than lamps at 4100 - 4800. You eye balls just don't work that way.Besides - you'll *BLEEP* off every driver that you drive past or drive up on! Possibly get the attention of the police too!
skbb Posted December 2, 2005 Author Posted December 2, 2005 Thanks for the replies, the purplish color is more apparent on german cars than that of lexus. You can actually tell from a long distance that the car behind is either bmw or mercedes. The change in color is awesome. :)
