B) Japan's Fuji Heavy To Build Toyota Vehicles In US AFX News Limited - November 23, 2005 From - Motor Trend Fuji Heavy Industries Ltd, the maker of Subaru vehicles, is expected to produce 100,000 Toyota Motor Corp vehicles annually in the US from 2007, the Asahi Shimbun reported, without identifying any sources. The newspaper said a Toyota vehicle production line will be built at a Fuji Heavy factory in the state of Indiana. Toyota president Katsuaki Watanabe and Fuji Heavy president Kyoji Takenaka will meet on Dec 5 to confirm the broad framework of the deal, the Asahi said. It will be the first meeting between the two executives since Toyota became the biggest shareholder in Fuji Heavy last month, when the auto giant purchased Fuji Heavy shares from General Motors Corp, the newspaper said. :) Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
