john_sc400
NEVER MIND! Sorry, but I can't see a way to delete this post. It's okay now. Some dumb guy (me) installled the motor backwards so it ran in reverse. So cancell all of the below. ================================= I just installed a new mast in my 95 SC400. The plastic leader was broken completely off. No big deal, I had to do it before on an LS400 I used to own. But now, the antenna retracts when I turn the radio on and it extends when I turn it off. It functions completely backwards! I've tried removing and reseating all the power plugs, but that didn't do it. Also tried removing the shaft and feeding it in again, but when I try to feed it, the motor is definitely driving it in the opposite direction of what I need it to do. I.E., when I power down it tries to push the mast up. It's like the polarity is reversed somewhere. I am sure the plugs are connected properly (they only go one way)
