Oledog1
Are there any maintenance manuals available for the DIYer, eg. Chiltons, Haynes? I do my own general maintenance and would like to have a manual for such items as can be done by the home mechanic. I just inherited a 1996 LS400 in excellent condition, but cannot even figure out how to change the air filter!
dfkd
I've never seen a haynes like manual for the LS. A suggestion for all though is to check out you local library!!! At my local library they have ORIGINAL service manuals for almost any car you can think of. I was really surprised.
Guest
This was a great thread on manuals and the link in it listed several options for manuals in addition to what your local library may have. Thread: http://us.lexusownersclub.com/forums/index...525&hl=download Manual options site: http://www.lexls.com/tutorials/intro/repairmanual.html My LS is so new to me I am still figuring out the buttons! Good luck.
Guest
Here is another handy site for a few DIY things. Picked up the link in someone else's thread. Probably authored by one of our own LOC members though I am not sure about that. http://www.cureline.net/lex/howtos.htm Also this url is in the help section on our LOC site but here is the easy access to it. Great for the basic and not so basic. http://www.lexusownersclub.co.uk/knowledge...ge=index_v1&c=
