Anyone familiar with repair of the rear view mirror auto darkening feature? My green LED went out and I can't find a reference in the manual to the fuse that controls it. Help!

Are there any maintenance manuals available for the DIYer, eg. Chiltons, Haynes? I do my own general maintenance and would like to have a manual for such items as can be done by the home mechanic. I just inherited a 1996 LS400 in excellent condition, but cannot even figure out how to change the air filter!
